When should I bring in an electrician on a remodel?
As early as possible — ideally during the planning phase, before walls come down. Getting the electrical layout right up front avoids costly changes mid-project.
Do you work directly with builders and general contractors?
Yes, regularly. I'm comfortable coordinating directly with your GC, architect, or designer to keep the electrical scope aligned with the rest of the build schedule.
Will my panel need to be upgraded for a remodel or addition?
Depends on the scope — a kitchen remodel or small addition may not require it, but larger additions or homes with an older, undersized panel often do. Part of the estimate process is checking whether your existing panel can handle the finished project.
How far in advance should I schedule for new construction?
The sooner the better, especially for larger builds — rough-in scheduling needs to line up with framing and inspection timelines. Call early in your planning process so we can pencil in the right windows.
